There were many aspects to the trip that were very troubling. First, was the high potential for exposure to contaminants with little to no information on what compounds people may be exposed to. Second was the consistent story of how little response and assistance people were getting from state or local governments.
Reaction or response from government authorities violates the Clean Water Act "Loophole", made between the government and the oil and gas industry. We can't have our governments breaking the law or special agreements with industry officials, now can we? No mater whos health or safety it infringes. Greed and profits are for the greater good or the general walfare of American society. Anything else is just collateral damage.
